Basic Policy on Shareholder Returns and Criteria for Determining Dividends
Fundamental Policy
Our company recognizes that the sustainable enhancement of corporate value and the appropriate return of profits to shareholders are among our most important management priorities.
In our medium-term management plan from fiscal year 2025 to 2028, we will emphasize management based on both "business strategy" and "financial strategy," as well as management that is mindful of the cost of capital. We will also shift our "financial strategy" to a policy that places greater emphasis on efficiency, aiming to achieve both improved capital efficiency and financial soundness.
Our fund allocation is based on investments aimed at medium- to long-term growth and appropriate shareholder returns. We will execute the 100 billion yen investment framework set out in our medium-term management plan as planned, promoting accelerated growth in our overseas business, increased efficiency in our domestic business, digital transformation (DX), and investment in new areas. We will also consider investments that will contribute to future growth, such as M&A and alliances, and our policy is to use funds for growth without excessively accumulating cash.
