Basic Policy on Information Disclosure
Kewpie Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") strives to provide fair, transparent, timely, and appropriate information disclosure to shareholders and investors in order to deepen their understanding of the Company and enable them to make appropriate evaluations.
The Company strives to disclose information in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, other laws and regulations, and the timely disclosure rules established by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In addition, we endeavor to proactively and fairly disclose information that may affect the investment decisions of our shareholders and investors, even if it does not fall under the disclosure items based on the timely disclosure rules.
Method of Disclosing Information
The Company discloses material information that falls under the Timely Disclosure Rules set forth by the Tokyo Stock Exchange through the Timely Disclosure network (TDnet) provided by the exchange. Promptly after such disclosure, the same information is posted on the Company's website.
Furthermore, even when disclosing information that does not fall under the Timely Disclosure Rules, the Company strives to transmit such information as fairly as possible through the Company's website and other media.
Matters Concerning Performance Forecasts and Future Projections
Forward-looking statements, such as earnings forecasts, contained in the Company's disclosure materials are based on information available to the Company at the time and certain assumptions deemed reasonable. Actual results may differ materially from these statements due to various risks, uncertainties, and changes in economic conditions.
Quiet Period
To ensure fairness and transparency in information disclosure and to strictly prevent the leakage of information regarding unannounced financial results, the Company designates the period from the day following the end of each financial quarter until the announcement of the financial results as a "Quiet Period."
During this period, the Company will refrain from answering questions or providing comments regarding financial results.
However, if it becomes apparent during this period that actual results may deviate significantly from previously announced financial forecasts, the Company will make appropriate disclosures in accordance with the Timely Disclosure Rules.
