Foundations for the Future

Since its founding, Kewpie has prioritized quality and delivered safety and reliability to its customers. We introduce our three growth foundations that spread "deliciousness" and "health" to dinner tables around the world.

A "business model" that creates food trends, "research and development capabilities and technological prowess" that pave the way for the future, and a "spirit of upcycling" that turns waste into value.

Business Model

Combining Professional Quality with Home Insights
to Shape the Future of Flavor Creating the next level of deliciousness

Kewpie Group has built a unique business model that comprehensively covers all aspects of food, including home cooking, ready-made foods, and restaurants. By taking a holistic approach to these three food scenes, we are committed to creating new food experiences that anticipate social changes and food trends.

R&D and Technological Capabilities

Creating New Value
through the Science of Eggs and Vinegar

We have expanded our business by exploring the potential of eggs and vinegar, the main ingredients of mayonnaise, and discovering new value from these materials. In recent years, we have also developed products that respond to individual values and social issues, such as "Gluconacetobacter hansenii GK-1" (a type of acetic acid bacteria) and the plant-based food "GREEN KEWPIE," and are steadily progressing toward the next stage of growth.

The Spirit of Upcycling

Eliminating Waste and
Directly Addressing Social Issues.

Kewpie Group values the "spirit of upcycling," which involves not wasting resources, in order to realize a sustainable society. In addition to initiatives that utilize every part of the egg, including the shells and membranes, and reducing plastic in packaging materials, the group is also challenging itself with advanced circularity, such as recycling oil-coated PET bottles. By connecting the resolution of social issues to new value, the group is promoting the sustainable improvement of corporate value.
