Orange Mayonnaise Shrimp

Mild and sweet condensed milk is combined with refreshing orange citrus to make a rich, yet refreshing and easy to eat dish. A small amount of parmesan cheese is added to the batter as a secret ingredient.

Condensed milk | 7g | ||

Ketchup | 5g | ||
Parmesan cheese | 0.5g | ||

Directions
1Prepare shrimp: Remove shells and veins, make several cuts on the belly side. In a bowl, combine shrimp, 2 tablespoons of katakuriko, and a pinch of salt, knead together gently with hands. Rinse and dry well.
2Combine egg, flour, katakuriko, milk, and black pepper, add shrimp and mix well.
3In a bowl, combine condensed milk, orange juice, ketchup, parmesan cheese, salt, and mayonnaise, mix well. Adjust amount of orange juice according to taste. Use amount of sauce appropriate for size of shrimp.
4Deep fry shrimp in oil at 170–190°C (340–375°F).
5Toss fried shrimp in sauce, sprinkle with cayenne pepper (not included in ingredients) to finish with a bit of color.
