Sesame Kakuni Pork (Braised Pork Belly with Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing)

This is an easy recipe for kakuni (braised pork) that can be made simply by adding KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing and simmering.
The sesame flavor, a delightfully different variation on standard kakuni recipes, goes surprisingly well with this dish.

Water | 300g | ||
Pork belly (slab) | 250g | ||
Scallion (white portion) | 3g |

50 minutes
Directions
1Finely julienne white portion of scallion, soak in water for 10 minutes. Cut pork belly slab into 5 cm. square cubes.
2Place the pork cubes in a heated pan, skin side up, and cook until browned.
3Combine KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add pork cubes and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
4Place on a serving dish and top with drained white scallion before serving.
