Pocket Sandwich with Carrot and Chicken Salad

A colorful and crisp sandwich made with Salad Chicken, carrots, and bell peppers flavored with KEWPIE Mayonnaise. As it is easy to prepare, we recommended it for busy mornings.

Ingredients (1 serving)

Sandwich bread 2 slices
Carrot 1/2 stick 90g
Red pepper 1/4 40g
Lettuce 2 leaves 40g
Salad Chicken 50g
Salt Pinch
Black pepper To taste
KEWPIE Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons

Cooking Time

10 minutes

Directions

1Peel carrots and cut into thin strips. Cut peppers into thin strips. Place in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, and squeeze dry.

2Rinse lettuce in cold water and drain.

3Add shredded Salad Chicken to carrots and peppers, dress with black pepper and KEWPIE Mayonnaise.

4Cut bread in half, cut a slit in the cross section to open it up like a pocket, smear the inside with a bit of mayonnaise (not included in above quantity), and place all ingredients in the pocket.

Cooking Tip

Drain carrots and bell peppers thoroughly.
The bread should be cut deeply and firmly.
